Jon Burton studied Naval Architecture at the University of Southampton before embarking on a successful career in the marine sector. Throughout his career, he has gained experience in defence and commercial contracts, working on various vessels, from small uncrewed platforms to Royal Navy ships. This has allowed him to acquire a distinct set of skills and expertise.

His engineering experience has been broadened through his role as a Capture Manager, where he was personally responsible for opportunity and bid management for projects valued up to £200m.
